In the recent Ohio Republican Primary, 22% of voters said that they would be dissatisfied with Donald Trump as the nominee, 24% said he lacks the temperament to serve effectively, and 29% said he wouldn’t be fit for office if he were convicted of a crime. This is among the most dedicated of Republican voters in that state and follows a trend that we have been seeing in the primaries across the country where support for Trump has been waning. He has still locked up the GOP nomination, but we definitely see signs that voters could defect from Trump in the upcoming presidential election which is good news for Biden and the country in general.
